Profile
Rev. Father Stephen Amoah Gyasi is the founder of STAG Foundation, a humanitarian organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and uplifting underprivileged communities. Guided by faith, compassion, and a deep sense of social responsibility, he has committed his life to transforming lives through practical acts of love and service.
Having lost his parents at an early stage of his teenage life, Father Stephen endured significant hardship and uncertainty. These early experiences shaped his resilience and ignited a lifelong passion to protect and empower those facing similar challenges. After becoming a priest, he made a personal commitment that “never again” should a child’s dreams be hindered by poverty, neglect, or circumstances beyond their control.
Motivated by this conviction, Father Stephen established STAG Foundation as a platform of hope—providing care, education, mentorship, and essential support to children and families in need. Through the Foundation, he seeks not only to meet immediate needs but also to restore dignity, inspire purpose, and create opportunities for lasting change.
